Our History

Founded in 2005 by two friends, White Stores is an online retail company based on a concept of having product-specific websites. This means we always create a new domain name, such as www.cushions-direct.co.uk, related to the single product being sold. We believe this makes our customers shopping experience quicker and easier and therefore more enjoyable.

The very first website we created was more of an online catalogue as it did not support online transactions. Rather, customers would phone in their orders. It’s safe to say we have come a long way since then. Over the five years we have been in operation we have expanded our product range whilst also striving to enhance and improve our customer’s online experience with us.

Stage one developments included moving sales online, and then enhancing our website features allowing customers to create accounts and track their orders with us.

Stage Two saw us adding PayPal across all our sites and improving the speed at which the site worked. Adding Paypal has proven very successful as it is a widely used, secure and trusted payment method online. A surge in online sales following these developments saw us moving to a larger warehouse facility to manage orders more efficiently. We have increased our team as sales have increased ensuring that our high level of customer service has remained intact.

Following online improvements and moves to bigger warehousing spaces we are very proud of our customer loyalty numbers and pride ourselves on providing a quick, efficient turnaround on products.
