We like this Cast Iron Grape Bench because it is not too heavy but it is strong enough to stay outside all year and with stand adverse weather conditions.

We also like this Grape Bench because it is easy to move around the garden and can be treated with the Golden Care cleaning agents each year so it looks brand new.

Product Description

This traditionally hand made Mercer Leisure Cast Iron Grape Bench is made to a very high specification. The Bench comes flat packed and will require some small assembly. This should only take about 10 minutes and will require a maximum of 2 people.

The sides of the Grape Bench are made from 100% Cast Iron and will last for many years to come. You can feel safe in the knowledge that you are buying a quality product which will with stand adverse weather conditions. The Cast Iron used to manufacture this bench is a Bronze colour.

Another good thing to point out about this bench is that all the Cast Iron used in the construction of the bench is recycled and then triple dipped in paint to ensure the frame colour does not fade or discolour over time.

The back of the bench contains a 100% Resin insert which looks very attractive and adds a classic look to the bench. By using a Resin back this will make the bench slightly more light weight and even easier to move around the garden. This Bench is ideal for the elderly.

The bench seat and back surround are made from varnished Acacia hardwood which will need some treatment after use to maintain its original look. If you want the wood on your bench to mellow to a silver grey colour simply leave the bench outside without treating it.

To maintain the original look of your bench you will need to use the Golden Care Wood Treatment products shown to the right of the page. Please see each product for its individual purpose and use.

When not in use we recommend you cover your bench as this will extend the life expectancy and maintain is original state. For our cover suggestions please see the products listed to the right of the page.
